to Pages torn from earth.
Leaves flitter: each a kite
reflecting Heaven light.

Floats, ropes, tangles and traps.
The spider king in a palace of diamonds.
Barren trees in a heavenly sky.
Bright moss, on a rolling stone called Earth.
The flavor of golden nectar.
Beautiful blooms of a bougainvillea bonsai.
Leaves turning, trees bare, color on grass.

I don’t say much on this blog about who or where I am. My intention is to enjoy photography–and walking. Â And to provide a sense of beauty that is universal. And possibly, maybe, to touch the minds and hearts of some readers.
But I must now say that this particular blog post and the next feature photos from the Japanese Friendship Garden in San Diego’s beautiful Balboa Park. I live nearby. A couple days ago I became a member of this garden. It’s a truly wonderful place.
